I have a 2 month old E6530 laptop that sits on a docking station while at work. The docking station has two monitors connected via Display Ports and I have always been able to use these two displays and the built in display at the same time.
Here's a brief summary of the before and after effects. System Specs: Alienware M17xR3 Intel I7 2720qm 2.2ghz 3.3 turbo Nvidia GTX 460m 1.5gb Bios Version A12 VBios Version A02 2x 750mb HDD Before:
I want to add an extra drive to my 760 which only has two sata ports. I am using these for main hard drive and DVD rewriter. I need to add an extra peripheral card to drive the new hard drive. I have tried a couple of pci cards with no success.
I have an Inspiron 7520 that originally came without a msata card. I've changed the daugtherboard and installed a 128Gb Crucial mSata Card. My idea is to use the msata as an individual Unit with SO and common applications and the Original 750gb HDD for the rest of the data (Not an Hybrid disk).
A couple of days ago I received an email from the Dell Support Wing wishing to know about my views on the product. I decided it would be great if I could share my experience of using The Dell Inspiron 15R SE (7520), as this would help a lot of people into making the right buying decision.
Before that I made images of my XP and Vista partitions on my old disk which I installed on my new hard disk. (Unfortunately, I had forgotten to save the Dell recovery partition.)
Hi my name is Reece. I've got a Dell N5050 Laptop and I'm using it to record music. I'm struggling to disable the internal microphone, because when I insert a usb mic when recording the internal mic also is in use.
I have a MD3220 and would like to start implementing DDPs in my storage array. Has anyone had good experience with these? One of my main gripes now with traditional RAID is build times when expanding storage by either adding disks to a group or expanding a virtual disk.
To make a long story short I had to replace the mother board on my Aurora (R1 I think). I'm rather confident that I put everything back in the right place, my PC turned on and loaded after all. Now my system fan runs all crazy. It ramps up to 4000 rpm for no reason then back down.
I've got a M17xR3 which i bought a couple of years ago, and was wondering if there was anyway of arranging with Dell to get a graphics card upgrade. I'm currently running a Geforce GTX 560M which can't really cope with today's games (my fault for being cheap i guess!)
It is due to rainy cloud occurs Lightning, and my D-Link router was fused and therefore I replace the same with a new DIGISOL 150 router. The router, as done earlier, is connected to my roommate personal computer and therefore we are sharing the broadband connection.
As it is today I have Win Xp sp3,but what I´ve discovered is that some of the registry files are corrupt; can´t find some Dll-files (at the regular starup process). The hardware is as old as the computer(both the graphic RAM,HDD etc).
