Oddly enough it seems that the track pad/mouse pointer stops working when the screen is black. e.g. during the time the screen is black the pointer on the screen doesn't move. I thought it might be related to the back light on the keyboard or the touch buttons.
Had to reinstall windows xp and now I have No sounds,can not get on the internet all icons are no longer there except my trash can icon. With the CD's that came with my dell dimension 9100 Which do I use to get back whats not there?
