Users have reported issues were an Optiplex 780 will intermittently not Wake on Local Area Network (LAN). Symptoms may include no link lights appearing on the built in network adapter port after it is powered down.

You might have come across Dell PowerEdge server being reffered to with it's generation to cover a range of models, rather than listing all the models available in this generation. For example 11G or 12G, or our latest generation of servers, the 13G (13th generation).
