I just had the hard drive go on the Vostro 420 that supports our church's voice mail. Unfortunately, the Dell Re-installation CD's are no where to be found. I have submitted a request to get backup cd's, but the Dell website doesn't seem to be working that well and who knows if it was ever received.

I have a older GX 270 and I got a Pentium 4 3.4 GHz SL7E6 SOCKET 478 and installed it mainly for the hyperhtreading. updated bios and chipset. The bios warns on start up that this processor will only run at 2.8mhz and then runs perfectly. I have read that early GX270's would do this.

I am recently trying to "fix" the above mentioned computer. It keeps coming up with an error code "Invalid Configuration Setup" and keeps asking for a password. There is no password that I am aware of. What can I do ? Thank you !
