I just had my samsung 320Gb hard disk sata disk which went dead on me and have now lost all my data. I have now installed a new drive and tried to restore my OS to original factory settings with my disks which I created around two years ago.

I've recently bought a Dell Inspiron 660 running Windows 8 which has been working well. However, in the last week, it's been randomly switching to just a black screen and no keys / mouse etc have any effect. The only solution is to reboot, which works.

I have a Latitude ST128 which the previous owner had installed windows 8 over the win 7, while 8 was on there I was able to use the tablet as a camera and take photos, but since taking windows 8 of and reinstalling windows 7 professional I cannot find how to take photos with the tab.

This morning, while watching a movie on my laptop, my screen went black and I had a media failure message. I entered DOS to do a diagnostic test, and everything passed except the hard drive, reading it as 0MB and n/a as an icon.

I tried everything: uninstall-install the video driver, get the latest driver from amd.com which didnt work, i let the windows to autoinstall the video card didnt work.
