I've got an Inspiron N7110 laptop that I've owned for about 10 months. Recently my screen has started to fade to black and then back. Sometimes it goes back and forth rather quickly.
I have an Inspirn 570 hooked up to a Dell monitor, which stopped displaying the screen, it is just blank. To be more specific when I start up the comuter it shows the startup screen, but when my Windows 7 Home would start loading the screen goes black.
Disconnect any external peripherals connected to the system(specially USB devices) Continously tap F8 on start up and try to boot the system into the Safe mode. Does the computer work fine in the Safe mode? Connect an external monitor, if possible for all LCD-related problems.
