I am seeking assistance with my Inspiron 1090 (Duo). Upon boot-up, I am receiving a message box that reads, "Windows detected hard disk problem Hitachi HTS723232A7A364 Volume : C:\"

I have an Inspiron 17R laptop, purchased new two weeks ago, that now will not boot. It powers on, briefly shows the Dell screen, then the screen goes to blue. I have run the hardware diagnostics and it shows no problems or error messages. Pressing F8 does nothing.

I downloaded windows8 key from dreamspark. When connect to WiFi system hags and i have to off it from power swich, I am unable to use bluetooth and WiFi both, as my computer has combo card. I have installed drivers also.

My AlienWare 51 continues to reboot after being logged into the OS for 5 minutes. I purshased a new PSU, a new MotherBoard(same model as the one that comes with the X51) I puled each Graphic Card one at a time, same with the RAM. I even re-installed the OS.

As I began using the newly bought PC, I noticed that my screen was blinking randomly among the day as I work, sitting in front of this PC all day/everyday 8 AM - 5PM. Sometimes 3-4 times in 5 mins or sometimes no blinking for 3-4 hour.

Take a look at a sniplet from show tech-support (look at the end). It clearly shows no stuff for the second unit. Also in the web interface it shows no stuff for second unit. At the power area it even says ERROR.

Dell Digitial Delivery v.2.5 is not working. Opened computer today, tried to use DDD to download software that was purchased but not installed. Keeps giving error message: --"Dell Digital Delivery has not been able to connect to the internet. Please make sure you are connected and try again.

I would like to inform you 8 beeps indicate issues with the LCD screen.so I would suggest you to connect an external monitor with the system and press Fn+F1 to transfer the display. If it’s working fine then LCD has to be replaced.

My problem is with scanning. Sometimes the scanner connects wireless, most times not. I usually have to shut the printer down and turn it back on so the scanner works wireless. Once the scanner connects it works fine....
