Hi I am having the same issue with my E6410. I have inbuilt webcame but it is not working. I am using win7 , 32bit I will appreciate it if any one could help me with how to locate the driver.
Hi Bluft, Yes you can add the camera on Dell latitude E6410 but you would need to replace the LCD bezel and camera on the system which would be a costlier option. The best option is to go for USB camera.

...call the spare parts line at dell at 800-357-3355. Its actually cheaper to buy it through them then to get it else where online. The cost is $18.99 plus $5.99 for the webcam bezel. Not sure what shipping is yet. Hope this helps!
nah, i's not there, nothing relating to a webcam is in devices, or anywhere for that matter
Thank you but this did not solve my problem. I now have Dell Webcam Central, but it states I need to plug in a device. So from the looks of so many others who have this issue, I will have to spend more money and purchase a webcam.
it is possible to order without a webcam. Are you sure you're seeing a camera, or the ambient light sensor?
its not a webcam its a sensor for the brightness

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if you can add a webcam to an E6410 if it didn't ship with one, and whether it is easy to do? Thanks.11/27/2013 | (Forums)
The light sensor is to the left hand side at the top of the screen. If there's a camera, you'll see it centered at the top of the screen right under the latch. The camera is optional - not standard - so if you didn't order it with the system, you don't have one.
You can also look up the configuration using the service tag -- support.dell.com (or the Dell support site in the country of purchase; that one is for US purchases only.
