My laptop is having an issue where it boots up and then it freezes for about 2-4 minutes before you can actually use it. What I mean is when I turn the system on, it goes through boot sequence and passes the welcome screen.

Hi, I need help. We just bought an older dell for my husband to use. Year 2004. Runs great but hes a gamer and the graphic card wont support his games. So we want to upgrade it but I cant even figure out how to figure out what the current graphic card is on this.
Laptop wont turn on with the power button, If I remove the battery and plug it in it will turn on. After it turns on I can press and hold the power button and it will turn off. If I turn it on by pulling the battery it works perfectly without issue. Any ideas?
