So I've been running Vista Business until today. My dvd drive has worked fine until I finished the Win7 Pro (32 bit) installation, and now my dvd drive is not listed in "my computer" or "device manager" at all. I installed windows 7, so of course it works outside of windows...
Running along smoothly and unexpectedly my HP4320 printer stops printing. Open the printer properties and it's checked with Use Offline. I uncheck it and come back and it's checked again...sporadically. Having trouble with usb ports. Some work sometimes. Some work never.

I have a poweredge 1950 with Windows 2003 SBS on it that will not boot. It gives the NTDETECT Failed error. I try to boot with an install disk so I can run recovery, but I get the message "setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer".
I recently purchased a new Dell U2713HM from shop justcomp (just.ru ), computer shop in Moscow. I out of interest checked the tag on the back of the monitor (center bottom on back) and to my surprise the serial number is different from ones listed on the box shipped and the calibration report.
Oddly enough it seems that the track pad/mouse pointer stops working when the screen is black. e.g. during the time the screen is black the pointer on the screen doesn't move. I thought it might be related to the back light on the keyboard or the touch buttons.
I have also read that bios could affect the detection of hardware? correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm looking into all possible options why my computer cannot detect my Gaming graphic card. by the way my laptop is Dell xps 14z
It is due to rainy cloud occurs Lightning, and my D-Link router was fused and therefore I replace the same with a new DIGISOL 150 router. The router, as done earlier, is connected to my roommate personal computer and therefore we are sharing the broadband connection.
Please check if the optical drive is being recognized in the BIOS. Restart the System and tap F2 on the Dell Logo. On the Main page of the Bios, please check if the SATA ODD is detected. If the Optical drive is detected in the BIOS, check if the drive is detected inside the operating system.
