I finished installing a clear acrylic window in my A-51 ALX. I bought a window kit from frozencpu.com (part# win-30/$24 shipped). It includes an 11x17" window (1/8" thick, radial corners) 5 feet of pro grade rubber trim molding and it got here in 2 days.

My Alienware Area-51 Desktop wouldn't turn on, instead beeping 7 times with a blank screen. After opening the side cover, I noticed there had been a spill inside as there was spots all over. I did notice when powered, fluid was leaking out the Liquid-Cooling Assembly, by the CPU.

I have a weird problem with my daughters laptop. When you turn on the laptop without the battery it starts to turn on but stops. With just the battery it does the same thing. I found this by mistake if you turn on with battery only and then plug power supply in and it starts right up.

After pushing the F1 key the boot up starts and the system tray has just the battery icon with the power adapter plugged attached. After some time the charging icon appears and a information window about stealth mode and re-starting the system.

A Dell service guy just replaced the liquid cooling unit in my Aurora system due to a loud grinding noise, and now when I run CommandCenter I see the System Fan reads 0 RPM. Now I can't remember if that was always the case, or if the recent service caused it.

Hello all, I am having a problem with my Dell XPS M1530 it is turning 4 years old this September and this is the first hardware problem I have ran into. Problem is my screen will flicker, fade in and out to negative/white/random colors when the screen is in certain postions.

As the owner of a DELL XPS L502X (almost 12 months old and 36 days from warranty run out), I'd like to inquire if anyone has had the same problem as I have just encountered. My power pack (Dell original) has a blue 'light up' ring near the end that plugs into my computer.

0 with IE8/XP Pro, without problems. I'm not exactly sure what it adds to my layered security mix, but as long as it gives me no grief I will keep it. I rather imagine ky331 will have more to say on this.
