When I push the power button, all that happens is the fan turns on and in few seconds there is a putt sound and that's it. Tried the usual trick of holding the power button after removing the battery to drain out the additional charge but no luck..

Hi all, new to working with Dell PC's. I recently re-installed XP MCE using the Dell CD on an XPS 600. We had some problems with the resource CD. How is the resource CD supposed to work? Does it install drivers automatically?
