- every now and then when I press the start button, DELL logo does not show (loading bios), the the fan starts to spin really fast, black screen, and then stops spinning, and the three leds on the left blink.
As 5.1 system have 3 jacks, and my laptop has only 2(1 for headphone and other for Mic), there seems problem in connecting all the speakers(front and rear pairs). How can I connect 5.1 speaker system to my laptop? Is it possible,somehow?
I've been trying to download the drivers listed in the webpage, but no matter how I try (single download or using the download manager) I always get the message "Sorry, the requested file could not be downloaded." Where or when can I get the right drivers?
I have the XPS 12 Ultrabook. I would like to get a cable to run from the laptop to my TV's HDMI port. Should I go with USB 3.0 to HDMI or use the other port on the laptop, which I'm not sure what it is, the manual just calls it video port. Is it a DVI? Thanks
I have inspiron N 4010. in-built speakers are not working, sometimes it makes big noises. I installed latest driver for audio but not succeed. i think it is hardware problem. Please help me for that.
I can NOT change the refresh rate and resolution for my dell inspiron 1420. I checked my dell manual, and the video controller is said to be 8600M GS. I downloaded the latest driver: 310.33beta from NVIDIA. and refreshed the bios to A10.

I just upgraded my L702x to Windows 8 and everything is working well with the out of box or Windows 7 drivers however I noticed that Dell has listed all the Windows 8 compatible updates on the Drivers and Downloads page for the L702x so I thought I would download and install them.
I am having power problems with my new inspiron 14z ultrabook. When it goes into hibernate I cannot wake it - the power button is lit but the screen is black and the computer is unresponsive to any buttons I try. I can only force reboot by holding the power button.
