Big fan of Dell computers as I'm a mid-20's guy and this is the 4th one I've owned and only brand I've ever really considered since the first one. Specs- As for the specs, this computer has Windows 7 Home Premium on it. The processor is an Intel Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30 GHz.

I have having problems with my laptops turboboost working when it wants... actually ... if I don't have it plugged it the turbo boost works nice and game run smooth.. however if I plug it in sometimes it works other times it does usually it just sits in the energy saver mode..

I bought a brand new Inspiron laptop from Staples last year. The machine is defective and I've called Dell on numerous occassions over the last year and a half. The "techs" from India have taken over my computer on countless occassions but have never been able to fix the problem.

There have been no spills or any damage to the laptop. No changes or additions added. I have called Dell and they had me remove the battery and power cord & hold the power button for 30 seconds..... After that they worked for about an hour, but have stopped again.

I have a Dell Latitude D420 notebook that runs Windows XP Professional. Yeah, I know it is an ancient machine, but still one that is quite convenient given its light weight and small size.

So I dug my old Latitude D630 out from the attic, turned it on, and it still works, and it actually connected to my router! However, only the wireless connects, not the wired connection. When I plug an ethernet cable in, the computer does not recognize the cable, and tells me a cable is unplugged...

Anyone else with an XPS One 2710 experiencing random beeps? Mine is doing this every day - maybe 15 minutes after boot up and then at other random times. Lots of single beeps - no rhyme or reason. Nothing showing as an issue in the event viewer under physical.

I'm having a heck of a time getting some H310 adapters to work. I have been using some PERC 6/i adapters and now I decided to try these out since they support 6Gbps drives and 3TB drives. The problem is when I go to install 2008 R2 it doesn't see the virtual disks I created at all!

I have asked for, and have been told that I will not be given, a refund for defective merchandise. I have spent 9 months trying to resolve a seemingly endless series of breakdowns and system failures with this computer.

And it doesn't work if I don't have it plugged in to the electrical take. Also I entered the Dell Extended Battery (or whatever its named) and checked for the battery health and it says it's working normal. What should I do?

Because we can't remember our Wireless Router Password, I pushed the reset button on the router and lost my Internet connection. Have a Dell Inspiron 7010, and in trying to reinstall the router with CD, can't find the wireless switch on my computer.
