All was well till I tried to play a Blue Ray disk and got a security error that told me I needed to use the Display Port connection instead of the DVI connection. Plugged in a new Display Port Cable, rebooted the system, and all I get is 6 beeps.
I currently have 2 GB RAM (1 GB X 2). I tried to install 4 GB more (2 GB X 2) and my computer would not initialize after power on. Is it even possible to upgrade this computer? Do the larger sticks have to be installed in the first to slots? I have never worked on a Dell and this has me stumped!
After 4 days of no use, I tried to power on my Dell Inspiron Laptop N5110. It did nothing. No sounds. No lights, Nothing. I searched on-line for answers - found the "discharge" the battery suggestion.
