I could not understand why dell sales team would treat a buying customer with such rude attitude and blatant outright bully type tones over the phone! to belittle a customer is crossing the line in my book!
Are you able to add the UPS even with the error or is it preventing you from adding it? Are there any errors in the logs? The error that you are getting is referring to the UDP communication with the devices. Are you a quick scan or an ip address scan to add the UPS?
Turns out they hired a cabling guy to add more ports and what he did was, instead of running more cable, he took the existing runs and split the wires ( unrelated question anyone know a lawyer? What's the punishment for castrating someone?)
