I've had the laptop for 18 months and this problem has been evident since day one, but it is now getting worse. videos/music stick and when typing an email etc whole sentences are missed out. Internet explorer is always freezing and cutting out, trying to surf the web is a nightmare.

Predision M4400 shuts down randomly...The power button is still lit, but won't boot up, when I hit the enter key. It restarts with no error message. It does it when it's been running a while. Could be overheating. What steps should I take to verify? I am running Windows 7, 64 bit.
