Windows 8 Dell Backup and Recovery Manager doesn't work

I have an Inspiron 7520 and uninstalled and reinstalled the new version of Dell Backup and Recovery Manager -- upgraded to premium to make sure that I would have full ability to use the program. Note: the old version didn't work at all -- hung up on backup, etc. I have rebooted.

HORRIBLE RUN AROUND! HAS DELL LOST ALL SENSE OFWHAT THE WORDS "CUSTOMER SERVICE" MEAN?

I went through the process of loading Dell's "Check Service Tag software on my Dell 1545 laptop, then ordered a replacement screen for the laptop based on the number that DELL's software provided in it's list of replacement parts. I ordered the part directly from Dell.
