Dell Hybrid Drive not using SSD mSATA SSD is used as cache drive to accelerate a conventional magnetic disk using Intel Rapid Start Technology (IRST). When using mSATA SSD with IRST setup, it is not available in device manager. Please share where exactly you checked the SSD activity. XPS One 2710 - screen flickers and returns to start up screen I am using XPS One 2710 running Windows 8. When I roll the mouse over open program icons in the task bar (desk top screen) the monitor flashes on and off and returns to the start up screen. When I log back in most of my work is lost.
