I've had the laptop for 18 months and this problem has been evident since day one, but it is now getting worse. videos/music stick and when typing an email etc whole sentences are missed out. Internet explorer is always freezing and cutting out, trying to surf the web is a nightmare.

My mom's computer was wiped and I am trying to help her restore her files. I went into her Dell DataSafe account and clicked to restore all her files. It now shows in her log "restore in progress" with a grey checkmark. How long does this process take?

During setup, we put in a name that we need to change. It looks like it should be the admin name (because it is the graphic we chose with it) but the name is not as it should be and we can't seem to change it. Right now, it is the only user added to this computer.

I am currently using a very stock dell Inspiron 570 fortunately I was just gifted an new GPU An AMD Radeon 6670 DDR3 2Gb (XFX core edition) my stock 570 is currently on a 300w power supply do I need a new PSU to run this card?

I want to start by saying what you (Barton George), your team, and Dell have done with Project Sputnik is simply awesome. I do not know of any big name company that has put this much effort into creating a truly Linux based notebook.

Although Key Scrambler 3.1.0.0 doesn't seem to cause a problem here, it still causes a lot of trouble on various other pages. The previous version did not have the flaw described in my other thread...characters appearing on the screen not the ones that were typed and freezing up.
