I have TWO of these machines and am disgusted that there is no working driver which recognizes and successfully controls the switchable graphics on them. I have bought no less that a dozen Dell machines, however if this problem isn't quickly resolved I will not buy Dell again. AR

Hi, recently i forgot my admin password to recover that i changed all passwords in set up-security-boot password, admin password, system password, hdd password. Now it is showing error for HDD password..!!! Plz help me out for this problem. Model is Dell Inspiron N5010

My Inspiron n7010 keeps shutting down suddenly with no warning. It doesn't have any beep codes or error codes displayed on the screen when it shuts down or starts up again. Any ideas as to what would cause that? I thought maybe overheating, but it doesn't always seem hot when it happens.

I bought a Radeon 7850 2GB card to replace my existing 6450 that came with my Dell XPS 8300. I believe I have physically installed it correctly (including plugging in the power), but my monitor won't show anything on start up - the fan on the card does run though.

I have had to completely re-install Windows on my Dell XPS 15 laptop. It came with Adobe Elements software installed. How can I re-install this software and find / activate the license key? The program files are still there in windows.old (a backup made when re-installing windows).

Are you able to add the UPS even with the error or is it preventing you from adding it? Are there any errors in the logs? The error that you are getting is referring to the UDP communication with the devices. Are you a quick scan or an ip address scan to add the UPS?
