When we purchased my wife's Vosto 260 computer, we took her previous computer's HD (C:) and installed it as the secondary (F:) drive to have as her data source. That F: drive still has the Windows operating system and previous Program Files and the data files.

I have the Inspiron 6000 since 2005 without any problem, but it has been used sparingly by my wife from 2009 till now, that a boot problem started. After I start the laptop (with no computer password), it would try to run the BIOS (showing the big DELL with www.dell.

The cursor randomly hangs on the lower edge of the screen. It flashes and blinks and occasionally acts like it is right clicking. When this happens it won't register a touch anywhere else on the screen. I can push the power button to put it to sleep and wake it up immediately and it works again.
