Hi guys, Thanks for reading this in advance. I've been stuck with this problem for a long time now and I haven't gotten the right answer yet. I ordered a Dell xps 15 last year, maxed out performance: I7 2670qm processor, Nvidia 540m video card and 8 gigs of Ram.

I know this is a pretty old machine by now, but I found the optiplex 170L in a garage sale for $50 and thought that it was a goodish deal. I got a graphics/video card (nVidia GeForce 6200 and i have no clue how to install it.

To make a long story short I had to replace the mother board on my Aurora (R1 I think). I'm rather confident that I put everything back in the right place, my PC turned on and loaded after all. Now my system fan runs all crazy. It ramps up to 4000 rpm for no reason then back down.
