I have the above machine and am getting speedtest.net speeds of around 1.6Mb/s (over wireless and ethernet). At the same time, on my mobile phone I get speeds of around 11.6Mb/s (wireless). The problem is that the Intel Hd card always seems to run on games and applications even if I have selected the nvidia to be the main gpu. I have completely wiped my computer and started fresh, and re installed the touchpad driver and I have tried to go into the properties through the control panel and notification bar, and none of them open.
