My Alien have in the last weeks turn black-screen with good reason to believe it's the GPU. Here's what I've done to try fixing it: 1: Cleaned CPU and reapply thermopaste due to overheating problems (while even using a cooling-pad). Fixed temperature, but not the black-screen. 5/22/2013 (Latest Version) | (Forums) |

Once its cleared, it should pick up the new server hostname. Also, if you are using the same IP address on the iDRAC6, you will need to clear the DNS A listing so it points to the new server and not the old. Let us know if this works for you. Regards, 5/22/2013 (Latest Version) | (Forums) |

I need to flash the firmware on a DRAC4 card inside a PowerEdge860. The current firmware, (1.51 build 08.23), isn't friendly with Java7 running on server2008. I'm using a file called 'firmimg.dm1" that was reccomended to me via a tech person on Dell Chat. 5/22/2013 (Latest Version) | (Forums) |

I have tried to connect via the serial interface but I am unable to get into the base configuration. It does not receive a break command to bypass the start-up, I have tried a direct serial port connection and also a USB Serial connection with multiple applications; 5/22/2013 (Latest Version) | (Forums) |

Here is what I have done to resolve this concern. First I have mounted my Zino HD on a milk crate. (avalible at any Walmart.) Inside the milk crate I placed a small personal fan. (wind machine) Then I tilted it vertical and set it to hi speed blowing into the bottom of the Zino. Problem solved 5/22/2013 (Latest Version) | (Forums) |
