Followup on this, as per Ergotron tech support I was missing an Ergotron adaptor mounting plate (part 60-254-007).

I purchased a new SX2210 monitor believing it would work with my old square bracket Ergotron wall mount; of course it does not. Are there any adaptors or wall mount system for this new monitor?

Yes, I'm trying to decide which is better and compatibillity with LX arms and quality of screen's anti-glare finish are important. But since posting the question, I realized that the "anti-glare" in description simply means the screen is matte rather than glossy -- is that right?

Dearg, The SX2210 is not designed for wall mounting.

valive, * The Desk Mount arms are listed under Monitor Accessories. 2407WFP's description says the screen is "anti-glare". Is that something that the older model doesn't have and if that's the case, how noticeable is the improvement? * Are you comparing the two 2407 models??

valive, But since posting the question, I realized that the "anti-glare" in description simply means the screen is matte rather than glossy -- is that right? * Correct.

When you remove the stand, you should see four screws in the VESA Mounting Holes (100mm). Remove the screws and the plastic cover.

When you removed the stand from the rear of the panel, you should see the four VESA mounting screws? Post a picture of what you see.

I have the same question. I only see a plastic back not the VESA screw holes I expected. Any answer for this question

Dell recommends Ergotron, and quite honestly so do I. Not because Dell recommends them, but because they have a very long track record, and provide a high-quality product: Ergotron You purchased a quality monitor...why not affix it to a quality stand? ;)

fadetoblack, Look at the Ergotron website. Juven found that Dell does sell Ergotron arms.

Ergotron is a big player in the monitor mounting solutions market. They have a cool tool called the Quick Finder. Here you can see if there is VESA on your display(s). See http://www.ergotron.com/tabid/387/default.aspx  Hans
