I see several threads looking for XPS 8500 video card upgrades that can be used with the stock 460w PSU or upgraded PSU. However, in upgrading the GPU for this machine, there are some cards that will not be compatible and will result in a black screen.

I recently had an order cancelled for a TV with $300 gc. The reason for the cancellation was because one of the gift cards i used to pay with was denied. When I called in I was given the runaround. First customer care told me I needed to talk to gift card department.

My ST2220L monitor keeps going into the Power save Mode but no keystroke will bring it back up. I have to do a hard reboot to get the monitor to work. Any suggestions?

I just was given a Dell V715W wireless all in one printer as a gift. I got it home downloaded the drivers and installed it. All worked fine except when I try to copy something I get a message saying "Unrecoverable scan error".

For the past few weeks, I have been having trouble maintaining a steady wireless internet connection. I intermittently lose the connection or the strength of the connection fluctuates. I have an Inspiron 1521, with a Dell Wireless 1390 Wlan Mini-Card. Also, I am running Windows 7.

I ran a full system scan on my Dell laptop and it said that the SMART Short Self test had failed. It explained that my hard drive could fail any time now and to back up my files immediately. My computer is only 3 months old, how can my hard drive be dying already?

I can create the Repair Disc just fine using "Create system repair disc". However, when I boot it I get the message "This version of System Recovery Options is not compatible with the version of Windows you are trying to repair.

My Inspiron 531 is still going strong after five years, as is the Photo 966 Printer. I replaced the 20" monitor that came bundled with the system with an Azus 23 1/2" only because I wanted a larger monitor.I also replaced the awful Nvidia GS 830 that also came with the system.

After this troubleshooting it shows that its NOT the CPU that is causing the issue, and it doesnt seem to be RAM either. There are no pins bent or missing on the socket. I did try to reset the NVRAM but it doesnt seem like it fixed it.

I have a Dell Inspiron 3520 running the Windows 8 system. When i try to take pictures/videos using the integrated camera i get the message "something went wrong while taking this photo/recording. I have checked the drivers and they are working and up to date.

I was given a Studio 540 computer with no discs or hard drive. Can I set it up with a new generic hard drive and a Windows 7 installation disc. Do I need any Dell drivers, and if so where can I get them?
