its a registry error and usually running a good registry cleaner will straighten out a dll error.

Same trouble here. I've scrolled through all the thoughtful reponses, and still, no dice. I already had com+ installed and I already had DW Lan unchecked at Startup, so none of those things could be what causes my own laptop trouble.
I had the same problem withmy dell 5720. What helped with me is remoe the Dell DW WLAN card in software. Re-install te driver and it should be fine
