I would like to use an E193FP and E153FPf with an Optiplex GX280, all recently purchased. Can someone point me to what vga splitter cable I would need to do this? As I understand it, the card driver supports this option, is this true? Thanks!

Is there a driver available for the Dell E153FPf 15" flatpanel monitor? I have searched the downloads but can't find one. Until I do, I'm stick in 640x480 16-bit resolution. Gah! Please help! Message Edited by aeversme on 01-03-2006 10:01 PM

Being stuck in 640x480 with only 16 colors will not be corrected by installing a monitor driver. You will need to install (or reinstall) the driver for your video card. What model computer do you have? Have you recently reinstalled Windows on your computer? Steve

System model?? Video card type model?

I had to reformat my HD and I upgraded to Vista Home Basic while I was at it. ( my original installation disk is 600 miles away)The driver that installed only gives 2 options for resolution. Is there a Vista driver that would increase the resolution choices? jim

I'm not about to steal your thunder but this worked for me too with a Dell Dimension 1100 and a Dell 15" E153FPf monitor. I've upgraded the OS from XP Sp3 Home and installed Windows 7 Home Premium and have upgraded to 2GB RAM. Thanks, it saved a system.
