I already have the driver from support.dell.com, thats why I'm here because that driver wouldn't work. It's already installed but couldn't get the modem working.

I had installed the notebook software but I installed the chipsets first (because I was told that should be the first thing installed) and i dont believe i installed it after the chipsets either....
Please don't type in all caps. It's considered shouting. Maybe you didn't install all the drivers. XP requires the Notebook System Software be installed first before all other drivers. Get it at Dell Support Downloads and Drivers under System Utilities.

i dont know , u can try searching if there's one i feel the driver is the right one , but its not installing on your computer , i dont think it will make much difference , coz its for dialup / setting up faxing i may be wrong ,so check...
