Oddly enough it seems that the track pad/mouse pointer stops working when the screen is black. e.g. during the time the screen is black the pointer on the screen doesn't move. I thought it might be related to the back light on the keyboard or the touch buttons.

I have tried installing the newest driver many times through different routes. I have tried the NVidia website for updates, the Dell website for updates, downloading the files then updating via Windows programs. I cannot uninstall the current driver either.

Hi, I need help. We just bought an older dell for my husband to use. Year 2004. Runs great but hes a gamer and the graphic card wont support his games. So we want to upgrade it but I cant even figure out how to figure out what the current graphic card is on this.

I have re installed my OS Vista which is fine but now I need the drivers but if I had a disc with the drivers on it, I can't find it! I have no internet access from the laptop I am sorting so how can I download the drivers I need. Help please!

You must say what model computer and operating system you have to get any answers. Check your Hardware Device Manager to find out exactly what network card(s) you have and post that too. Explain why you are installing another driver for your controller.

My two year old laptop display gradually went from flickering, to intermittently going white, and finally dying altogether. I have replaced both the video cable and the display itself, but it still doesn't work. It now starts white, then fades to black, sometimes with lines across the screen.
