My MX18-R2 delivered (2 days ago) with broken LCD, so I tried to write to the tech support, but found another problem. My Service Tag is wrong everywhere, also on dell online register. Service Tag is same in BIOS and I bought laptop online.

When we purchased my wife's Vosto 260 computer, we took her previous computer's HD (C:) and installed it as the secondary (F:) drive to have as her data source. That F: drive still has the Windows operating system and previous Program Files and the data files.

Running along smoothly and unexpectedly my HP4320 printer stops printing. Open the printer properties and it's checked with Use Offline. I uncheck it and come back and it's checked again...sporadically. Having trouble with usb ports. Some work sometimes. Some work never.

My Dell Inspiron desktop is having a hard time booting up. I press the power button and the light flickers for literally half a second, but then nothing happens. If I hold down the power button, the light flickers repetetively as if it's being pressed multiple times.

Has anyone ever installed an SSD on this model? I have tried 3 different models of SSDs, but none of them will insert all the way, it gets stuck about half way. Regular HDDs insert just fine (I've tried several makes/models of HDDs and SSDs, and so far all of the HDDs fit, but none of the SSDs fit.

Hi. I have a Studio XPS 1640. I'm replacing my entire display assembly. But when reconnecting the new assembly, I can't tell which mini card cables go to the proper jacks. I'm using the service manual on Dell's website, but even zooming in, the colors are not clear.

i'm using inspiron n4010 2 weeks ago, the USB port to the right side stopped working completely. And just today i noticed the USB port at the back has also stopped working. I now only have the left side port working and fear that may seize to work soon.

The only way I've found to reliably solve the problem each time it occurs is to disable the sound device in Device Manager, reboot (required by OS), then enable the sound device again. The problem seems to reoccur more or less every time I close the laptop lid and reopen.

When I push the power button, all that happens is the fan turns on and in few seconds there is a putt sound and that's it. Tried the usual trick of holding the power button after removing the battery to drain out the additional charge but no luck..
