I have a Precision T3400 here that won't properly go into standby. When i go to put it into standby, Windows does go into its low-power state by shutting off the monitors and the power button will start blinking like it should, but the computer is still on.

Despite setting Flight simulator X to run using the dedicated card it does not ive tried full uninstall of the AMD drivers etc to no avail. Alot of threads on this from last year but I could not find any resolution. What drivers should I be using Intel and AMD?

Given that the docking station draws a certain amount of power, I was told that you couldnt really use the power supply that came with the laptop through the docking station as you are then giving the laptop less than the required wattage.

The monitor power cord should be plugged directly into the wall socket while troubleshooting. Disconnect all monitor cabling from the computer EXCEPT for a single DVI cable. Retest.

A few days ago I turned my X51 Alienware computer off.And then the next day when I went to turn it on again the Front logo (the little alien) And the side panels wouldn't up!The side panels are boring and white and the little alien is just black.

I have an Inspiron 1520. For years everything worked fine. Now I'm having a problem with my audio. It works fine when I play music or movies from files on the computer. But when I play anything from my DVD drive (an audio CD or a DVD), the audio is very crackley and stuttering.
