Are you able to add the UPS even with the error or is it preventing you from adding it? Are there any errors in the logs? The error that you are getting is referring to the UDP communication with the devices. Are you a quick scan or an ip address scan to add the UPS?

Please help me understand if the computer is booting into windows. If not, where exactly does it stop. Do you get any error message? If yes, please help me with the exact error message. I would suggest you to run the Pre-Boot System Assessment (PSA / ePSA) Diagnostics.

Same problem here, sadly dell support is no big help here. Everytime I call they don't even know that "DMPV" exists and put me through to poweredge support, which also doesn't know what to do, after "circulating" in line multiple times I gave up. I am very frustrated.

Hi All, Was just wondering if the power button lights up/glows on the new XPS 14 Ultrabook during start up/boot( just like how the other keys are backlit) Also, if it indeed does, does it remain lit until the system is shut down?

My Inspiron is showing some bad wear areas on the metallic looking palm rest - where my right palm sits and also around the left mouse button. The shiney plating is just coming off revealing the black plastic underneath making it look pretty tatty.
