First attempt got a warning that my installed version of DSET at 3.3 was not compatible with the new version of support assist so I uninstalled DSET and installed it's latest at 3.4 Second attempt to install the Support Assist upgrade gives me this error.
I wouldn't say it is recommended, but it will work. The only problem with mixing memory is that you will not be able to populate the third channel. It will make slots A3,A6 - B3,B6 unusable.
