AlienFX launches fine and I can see the green icon in the notification area, but trying a quick change for the led panels or going trough the Command Center has no effect. After a while a balloon pops up from the notification area saying that AlienFX could not communicate with the hardware.

I click START >Shutdown and have to wait and wait forever (3-5minutes) for the final prompt to either restart/shutdown/log off.Its is real annoying. I am using a 2007(bios) Latitude Dell 520 laptop (purchased second hand).

As i say in the past I don't like gaming with a card that overheats! I don't enjoy gaming with a Jet Engine sound coming from the PCI fan, never got use to it, it has always freaked me out! Can this MOD be use in as Home theater on my living room?
