to remove any stuck print job in the queue. Disconnect the printer. Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer. Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed.

What operating system is on the new notebook? The 32-bit drivers should work if you've a 32-bit version of Windows 7. If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, you're likely in for a new printer - there aren't 64-bit drivers for ta printer that's this old.
