Hi, I had to replace the screen on my Inspiron N7010 after the LCD randomly died. Replacing the screen was easier than expected, but the front bezel (34YFF) isn't reattaching -- when one portion of the piece pops securely in, another piece pops out like a game of whack a mole.
I downloaded and installed the new driver which restored my scrolling but now the touchpad is jumping all over the place. I tried reducing the sensitivity but it is still doing it. It is driving me NUTS!
Dell did ship these with Phenom II-X4 CPUs, so most of the Socket S1-G4 CPUs should work. Stick to models with identical or similar power requirements - installing a CPU that requires more power than the original, is an invitation to system instability.
