We have Dell 1610HD that is exhibiting what I call missing pixels, there are many white squares all over the display screen (like hundreds). I fear this has to do with the DLP chip, however, wanted to know if anyone else has seen this problem. Thanks!

What model drive did you install? Since it's EIDE, it requires the attachment of the blade connector from the original drive in order to connect it to the system board.

When I’ve been running my XPS L501X on battery alone (disconnected from the AC adapter) for a half hour or so and then reconnect to the AC adapter, I get a message saying that the AC adapter type cannot be determined. I’m using the Dell AC adapter that came with the computer (from Dell).
