Hello all. My wife's notebook is excessive hot close to the power button. And only under Linux. When running under Windows, everything is ok. Any help? This happens even with cooler at max speed all the time.
I'm helping someone out with their n7110. The computer started being unable to boot this morning. It goes to the Dell logo where the status bar fills up and then it reboots again. There is no beep code.

Anyone else noticing that if you look very closely the screen has these horizontal lines (especially on a white background) which causes the picture to not appear crisp? I know that every screen has pixels, but it seems pretty noticeable.
I have a question about the number of hot spares on the PS6100XS. The configuration says seven SSDs and 17 SAS drives. Are there four hot spares then (two SSDs and two SAS drives)? That would really limit the total amount of space available if we were to use RAID 10 for that array. Thank you.
