I spoke to a rep via phone named Saritha. She was a little snappy. I asked her last week if there was a delay due to waiting on parts to come in. She refused to answer my question and was extremely vague. Two days later I called in and spoke to a very nice rep by phone.
I have noticed recently that my GPU is getting hotter and hotter as I am playing games in fact around about 93C, it seems the average of most with this laptop is around 71C, I have the most recent BIOS update installed and latest drivers etc. GPU: Nvidia GT 555M (with 3D)

My name is Steven Gill and I purchased a Studio XPS 1640, for use in college. The course that I am enrolled in requires a computer, but due to ongoing problems with my computer I have not been able to use it as needed.
I bought a Alienware x51 desktop last year (around march of 2012). The desktop has been crashing around feb of 2013, the warranty was about to expire and i extended the warranty by one year to be on the safer side. In the past week the computer has been crashing daily and is currently unusable.
My sons R3 Aurora's multiplier continues to drop to 8 rather than 32. As a result he's getting very slow speeds and performance. He is running A06 Bios. We have tried various bios settings, however we can't get it to work correctly. Any thoughts?
But the factory pre-installed software exposed another problem - I cannot uninstall McAfee security. I have spent approx. 40 hours on this problem following the guidelines. The intro will expire in 2 weeks and I will be without protection. A call to McAfee had them blaming me...
I just was given a Dell V715W wireless all in one printer as a gift. I got it home downloaded the drivers and installed it. All worked fine except when I try to copy something I get a message saying "Unrecoverable scan error".
I have an Inspiron 1764 laptop that is about 3 years old. I am suddenly having issues with a white screen appearing in the middle of working on the laptop. I am not able to recover other than a hard shut down which of course tends to corrupt some of my Windows files.
I have a Dell T7500 with a SAS6/iR controller. I had a RAID 1 setup with two Seagate ST31000528AS SATA drives. I needed to replace one of the drives and when I boot, I get an indication that the drives are Resyncing.
