Hello! I have no more hair left to tear out, so I'm hoping someone can help. I have an Inspiron 5520 that came with Windows 8. I ditched the Win 8 and installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1. Windows works fine, but I can't install any drivers.

I own a Inspiron 7420 with Phoenix Securecore Tiano UEFI Bios. Anyone know whether there is a way to modify the secure boot key options in BIOS? Because these seems like basic functionality and I just could not find it. This basically only allows secureboot to be used with Microsoft Windows! Argh!

After updated to the latest BIOS A14, the dedicated graphics card is disappeared from the device manager left only the HD 4000 integrated graphics hardware (See the image bellow)

Can you please STOP going through old posts and locking them with today's date so they ALL these old posts get bumped up to the top of the list - recent posts are pushed down and it just confuses the board. Can you find a way to do this without using the current date.

Hello Dell Tech's and anyone else that can assist. I have upgraded the BIOS of this machine to the [2.5.3] However, it took out the Onboard Ethernet Controller. So, not I have stuck without a Ethernet Controller.

Made the mistake of putting N7110 laptop into checked bag on airplane. Laptop booted up OK but screen is blank (not quite black) and not showing cursor or any sign of life. External monitor works fine. Screen does not show any damage.

So this leads me on to my main point that all troubleshooting diagnostics are internet based and if the internet is knackered on your computer then dell cant diagnose - a Catch 22 situation. Any ideas how to contact dell support? AlRutter

I have recently bought a logtitek mic/camera and it works fine with skype on my workstation, however when I use it with my Dell D600 the sound quality is extremly poor on skype. When I play a CD it's ok and windows start-up sounds are ok.
