My name is Steven Gill and I purchased a Studio XPS 1640, for use in college. The course that I am enrolled in requires a computer, but due to ongoing problems with my computer I have not been able to use it as needed.
. . and also that I really do not that much about this kind of thing. Specs: Dell Optiplex 755 Intel(R) Core 2 Duo CPU 1.20 GHz, 980 MB of RAM Display Adapter: Intel(R) Q35 Express Chipset Family I have 4GB of RAM coming in the post next week which will promptly be installed.
Everything seemed to go fine and after it said finished, the system rebooted and all I got was a black screen and a mouse cursor. Waited about 15 minutes and still nothing. I pressed the power button, after it shut down, pressed again, it said resuming windows.
Why am I not able to just reconnect with restarting Windows?I am using a 2007 Dell 520 Latitude (used), windows XP Pro version 5.1, Intel PROset wireless
Bluetooth is not at all working on my dell inspiron 15R N5110 after i installed win 8. I downloaded several Bluetooth drivers from dell, but nothing seems to work. i Have a Bluetooth icon on my task bar, but when i click there for options, it is blank.
I see there is Latitude 10 or Latitude ST2E tablets. What is the difference? I see there is a BIOS update version A04 for the Latitude 10. There is a BIOS update version A03 for the Latitude ST2E.
Thanks for quick reply. And what should I notice / care about if I decide to buy online. I heard that I must use same mHz speed for both RAMS. Wouldnt more than 4GB work in 32bit UBUNTU 12.04 ?
2) I am asking question 1 because this machine had a virus... which upon rebooting to complete removal the machine would show the windows moths flying around and coming together, than a fast flash of a blue screen with white letters, then it would begin to boot again... in an endless loop.
I am now part of the "extensive" club which is having major issues with my Inspiron 17R 5720 laptop. It crashed last night and will not boot properly. I have read numerous identical posts which, unfortunately, no solution has been given.
I have accidentally deleted recovery drive on my Inspiron 5521 system during partition creation. My system is in warranty period. So I wanted to know how can I get recovery discs for the system .
I recently placed an order for the Inspiron 660 with i5 3330. The computer is currently shipping and I would like to purchase a graphics card via auction that will end prior to the arrival of my computer. I would like to install the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660.
It is a problem that affect the whole M17X series. I discovered a lot of forums worldwide with posts like this of people affected by this problem. Even in the dell communities worldwide.
