I have the Alienware m14x R2 for about 2 months and have noticed severe performance drops playing various games such as WoW, BF3 and CS:GO. Upon various troubleshooting methods, including the on suite dell doctor, I have installed CPUID software to monitor my CPU and GPU temperatures.
We have a stack with (2) 6224s. On port 2/g24 we have a 1000-LX SFP. It seems with that installed and operating ALL the other copper ports (1/g21-1/g24 and 1/g21-1/g23) no longer work. I can get link lights, but VLAN assignments appear to be ignored etc and no traffic is passing on the copper ports.
Oh no ... really? It's happening on this monitor too? I have the Dell 2740L as well which has this issue and I thought it wouldn't happen to this model. It's really bad on the 2740L, and Dobr and nokey (another post thread) captured the exact way it shows up in photos on the U2413.
The colours appear distorted and flicker very quickly between offset R, G and B. Only the colour white appears stable. The more black on the screen, the more pronounced the flashing and cycling is.
I have a Dell Inspiron and have had it for a year. Over the past week, when I have been using the computer it stops responding and I am unable to do Ctrl Alt Del or do anything except a hard shut down. This has been happening at least 5 times a day. It is also not shutting down now.
Can you change the graphics card on the new alienware 17 (the one that comes with the cheapest package) to GTX770M or GTX780M? It seems that there is no option of changing the graphics card in the customization section of this specific package model
I've configured alert emails in DELL OME so that I can have emails to notify me when certain problems occur. And I'm able to get these alerts, which is good as expected. But I notice that I always get this kinds of emails: Device: . Service Tag:. Asset Tag:. Date:04/07/13.

I have a new Latitude E5430 with Win7 Prof 64bit. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports. The USB 2 ports are working well but the USB 3 aren't. If I plug any usb device into USB 3 port (I have USB 2 and 1 devices only: keyboard, USB-Serial converter, Flash Drive, Phone etc...
