Why am I not able to just reconnect with restarting Windows?I am using a 2007 Dell 520 Latitude (used), windows XP Pro version 5.1, Intel PROset wireless

In the device manager under Portable Devices there is an exclaimation mark -- This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

october 2010. Can someone tell me the maximum limit to which the ram can be increased on this laptop. Also I want the specification of the ram which came with this laptop. I have already used cpu-z and it is showing that the D-ram frequency is 533mhz .
