It doesn't seem to matter whether it's GTA: San andreas, or Age of Conan after an hour or so my computer will completely freeze up, video, audio, everything. I do notice if I have cursor control when I move the mouse it will jump but that's about it.

I've just bought a new Dell computer (Inspiron 15R 5520) for my daughter which comes with Windows 8. However, there is no Windows 8 reinstallation disk.

Last time I fixed the problem by rolling back an NVIDIA driver. However, I am still using the rolled back NVIDIA driver (the good one) and the problem has reoccurred. I tried recovering Windows 7 to a restore point, but the oldest restore point I had, dated March 28th, did not fix the problem.
