Ok i have read many posts on graphics cards on the above server and difficulties encountered with fitting alternative cards in PCI-E x8 slot. After many different cards tried i wanted to report my success's.

Can you change the graphics card on the new alienware 17 (the one that comes with the cheapest package) to GTX770M or GTX780M? It seems that there is no option of changing the graphics card in the customization section of this specific package model

Hi, First thing first, I have no warranty as it expired >_< I have been getting this error here and there if not too often after installing Windows 8. I never encountered this problem with Windows 7.
