Am I correct in assuming that the hard drive will blow up soon? Or is this some sort of false alarm or a fixable situation, such as some kind of scan fix procedure? I am currently backing up my system and all my files to an external drive. As of right now, it is 15% complete and chugging away.

So I'm working on my Dell Dimension Desktop running Win 7 Home Prem and I get the dreaded blue screen. I rebooted and all is ok, but you worry when you don't know why. I ran PC Doctor and Spybot - had a few minor spyware issues - nothing big. Then I did a chkdsk - no problems found.

How do I restore my machine back to factory default? My last alienware had an app called Alienware Spawn which I used but I don't see anything like that on this machine? Do I have to wipe it out from stratch? What is the EFI System Partation? Is it safe to delete?
