I've been having issues with my XPS 435mt turning on for several months now. It started where the computer would only turn on after being left off for a day or two. When it wouldn't turn on the power button would flash amber whenever you pushed it

Generally I just leave my laptop on nonstop and put it to sleep whenever it's not being used (I remember reading somewhere on the Windows 8 user start guide to just let it sleep instead of turning it off). Yesterday, I traveled home for Thanksgiving while my laptop was in sleep mode.

I have a Old Dell 2400 Im working on.. its has 2.40 ghz with 2gb memory. I installed a New hardrive (20 gb) and a dvd-rom drive I took out a cd rom.. I was planniong to install Windows 7.. But before I can do that The comp prompt me that thers NO DRIVE FOUND on either.

On every boot up I have to adjust the gain on the facial recognition to get it to recognize me. I have gone into the command center and saved with the gain at 100%, but to no success. When I slide the indicator to 100% and select apply and ok, I believe it should save, but that doesn't happen.

After 4 days of no use, I tried to power on my Dell Inspiron Laptop N5110. It did nothing. No sounds. No lights, Nothing. I searched on-line for answers - found the "discharge" the battery suggestion.

All was well till I tried to play a Blue Ray disk and got a security error that told me I needed to use the Display Port connection instead of the DVI connection. Plugged in a new Display Port Cable, rebooted the system, and all I get is 6 beeps.

OK,below is a conversation between dell customer service,a supervisor and I.This is pretty much self explanatory for the reason I refuse to buy anything from dell again!!!I suggest if you buy a dell don't expect to get anywhere with customer support or service for any issues that you may have!!!!

I wanted to upgrade my graphic card driver - so I've downloaded the new version from dell official web site. I got the error that it's not compatible.. I read somewhere that it's good to uninstall the previous driver and to install the new one.
